HRD Ministry launched Smart India Hackathon a pan India 36 hour nonstop digital programming competition. Our institution gave opportunity for both students and faculty to participate in Smart India Hackathan. Here the faculty act as a mentor and a group of selected students will propose an idea by outlining the possible solutions. Overall our college had sent ten projects, among them two teams were selected to participate in the Grand Finale.

Neoterics team developed an online portal to the ministry of women and child development in the domain child care and monitoring, KIOT was one among the top 5 who got the KPIT appreciation and had a special interaction with Mrs Sasikala Pushpa, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha. Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.
