Major Objectives
1.To promote and foster Big Data Science, Technology and industry applications to the students and to develop core generic technologies, tools and algorithms for wider applications that are being practised by industries to the students
2.To create industry academia partnership to groom the talent pool in among the universities & colleges as well as to develop a strong internal training curriculum to advance analytical depth
3. To make the students to setup Hadoop Cluster and to write Complex MapReduce programs which supports the hadoop ecosystem
4. To understand the present status of the industry in terms of market size, different players providing services across sectors/ functions and Hadoop ecosystem opportunities
5.To posses the necessary skills for utilizing tools (including deploying them on Hadoop/MapReduce) to handle a variety of big data analytics, and to be able to apply the analytics techniques on a variety of applications.
