The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) was established in our college during the academic year 2011–2012 with the objective of promoting gender equality and empowering women within the campus and beyond. The Cell is committed to fostering awareness of the critical role that women’s development plays in the overall progress of the nation.
The Cell serves as a platform to address issues pertaining to women, with a particular emphasis on combating gender discrimination and promoting social awareness. It functions as a resource center for women, offering guidance, support, and a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences.
In addition, the Cell endeavours to nurture self-confidence among women and to encourage their active and constructive participation in societal development. Through various programs and initiatives, WEC strives to empower women to realize their full potential and assert their rightful place in society.

(iv) Collaborate & Counsel – Partner with NGOs/experts and offer counseling support on health, legal rights, and safety. |
